Emergency services are working to rescue the driver of a vehicle after it plunged into Immingham Docks.
The vehicle, which is believed to be some sort of truck, went into the water at around 8:30am.
Police, fire and ambulance services are all on the scene, including divers who are specially trained to deal with under water rescues.
Concern is growing for the safety of the vehicle's driver.
Transport Secretary, Patrick McLoughlin MP has given the go-ahead for the dualling of the A160 access road from the A180 into Immingham Docks.
The scheme is regarded as essential not just to meet existing current traffic levels but to the further development of both the Docks and future development including the proposed South Humber Energy Park by Able UK.
Local MP, Martin Vickers described the announcement as ‘excellent, this scheme has been a long-time coming and over the last ten years has been put on hold on more than one occasion.’
