Bradford City's run to the Capital One Cup final last season was the stuff of fairytales, and for one of the heroes of that journey it was a Cinderella story indeed.
James Hanson was working at the Co-op just 4 years before that Wembley final. An inspirational story indeed and that's why a group of Bradford fans decided to tell the tale in a new childrens book. Chris Dawkes reports
Bradford City's goalscoring hero James Hanson is returning to the Co-operative store where he used to work to thank the community for their support and to launch a special 'Co-operative Good Luck in the Cup Campaign'.
The Bantams ace will visit The Co-operative Food in Idle where he once worked, and will be welcomed by John Briddon, Regional Stores Director for The Co-operative Food., to launch a special campaign to allow City fans to 'fly the flag' in support of the club at Wembley.
The Co-operative has produced a giant football shirt plus a smaller version and some good luck cards, which will tour the city in the weeks leading up to the final to give all fans the chance to add their good luck messages.
