Police appeal after jewellery stolen in Meltham Burglary

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after a number of items were stolen during a burglary in Meltham.

The incident happened on 11th March after suspects forced entry into a property in Meltham near Huddersfield.

Various items were stolen during the burglary including a distinctive pink pearl necklace with two black pearls in the centre.

Goose stabbed in West Yorkshire

A Goose has been stabbed by two men in Meltham in Kirklees. It happened on Monday afternoon. Police were called out to reports that the men had tried to steal the animal in a sack from Royd Road, but attacked it when the Goose resisted and pecked at them. Police are appealing for witnesses.
