Police appeal over missing 14 year old girl

Police are appealing for help to find a missing 14-year-old girl from Sheffield.

Courtney Brown was last seen at around 2pm on Wednesday, October 1 at her home on Manchester Road in the Deepcar area of the city.

Police believe that she had planned to travel towards Attercliffe with friends.

Courtney is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall of large build. She has dark brown shoulder length hair and is thought to have hair extensions to just below her shoulders.

She was last seen wearing a grey Adidas hoody jumper with a large blue Adidas logo on the front with a grey and red Nike jacket over the top. She was also wearing black skinny jeans and black, red, yellow and green Adidas trainers.

CCTV image of missing mother released

West Yorkshire Police has released a CCTV image of missing mother Rowena Gartland.

The camera footage was captured on Wednesday, October 1, at the Asda store, in Forster Square, Bradford between 1.15pm and 2.20pm. Rowena, 35, of Laisterdyke was reported missing in the early hours of this morning.

She was last sighted at 7:45pm the same day driving a blue Suzuki Swift, registration number Y971 RWR, at Shipley Fields, Shipley. The last contact traced her mobile phone to the Queensbury area shortly after midnight.

Rowena is a mixed race female, she is 5ft 8inches tall, of medium build, with a long, wavy, auburn, ginger weave. She was last seen wearing a beige flowery top, black leggings, white trainers and a denim jacket.

We are extremely concerned for Rowena's safety and would like to trace her as soon as possible. If anyone has any information which could help our investigation, please contact Bradford CID on 101."

Search continues for missing dog walker

Police and a team of volunteers will resume the search today for dog walker David Leman who disappeared three days ago. He was reported missing after his dog was found near Skegness' Gibraltar Point.

Detectives are also looking through the town and reviewing CCTV from the time of his disappearance on Monday morning february 4, when he parked his car on South Parade to walk his dog Millie.

Lincolnshire Police gave the go-ahead on Wednesday for a team of volunteers to join in the search. They began their search from the resort's south parade car park at 9am.

David is of mixed race, around six foot tall with a shaven head. His clothing has not been confirmed but is thought to be jeans and a hooded jacket.

Appeal for missing Doncaster woman

Police in Doncaster are appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of missing local woman Asma Kiran.

Twenty-four-year-old Asma was last seen at an address at Hyde Park, Doncaster at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, 5 February.

She is described as being of Pakistani origin and of a slim build, she was last seen carrying a large canvass green trolley bag, wearing a blue dress, and a knee length brown overcoat.

Anyone with information regarding Asma Kiran’s whereabouts or who saw her yesterday should contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 760 of the 5/02/2013.

Police ask holiday makers to help find missing man Russell Ward.

76 year old Russell Ward has been missing for three weeks

The family of a man from North Yorkshire who is missing in Greece are asking holidaymakers to help with the search. Russell Ward's relatives have now set up a Facebook page and a Twitter account to try to piece together his last movements.

The seventy six year old, who lives in Stokesley, was on holiday on the island of Tilos near Rhodes, when he disappeared three weeks ago. Police have so far failed to find him.
