Officers smashed their way into seven homes in the town this morning - at the culmination of an eighteen month operation - that has seen 22 people arrested in total. Officers have also seized half a kilo of Crack Cocaine as well as other Class A drugs, and fifteen thousand pounds in cash.
Police in South Yorkshire have carried out raids on seven properties in Doncaster this morning as part of Operation Advance. During the 18 month operation officers seized £15,000 in cash at one property alone. 22 people have been arrested, with needles found at one of the properties.
An investigation's underway after a patient caught fire at Scarborough Hospital during a routine operation. It happened when the fluid being used to clean the skin caught light. The patient suffered minor burns and has since been discharged. The hospital has apologised for any pain and distress.
