Rail commuters in Yorkshire could face extra costs as the Government consider introducing charges at rail station car parks.
There are 18 stations in the county where parking is currently free but, under new negotiations between the Government and Northern Rail, could see charges introduced.
Currently the Government subsidises Northern Rail but as Ministers look to lower costs, the shortfall may have to be made up by customers.
Would you be happy to pay for parking at your local station? Let us know here or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org

Free parking on Sundays and evenings in Leeds could be scrapped. The council will decide today if to introduce charges which it's thought would generate an extra 2 hundred thousand pounds a year. Leeds is currently one of only 3 cities offering free off peak parking.
