The Princess Royal will visit a Riding for the Disabled centre in Leeds Credit: Calendar
A horseriding centre for the disabled in Leeds which was targetted by thieves last summer is receiving a a Royal visit from Princess Anne. £20,000 worth of equipment was stolen in July 2012. The Princess Royal will be given a demonstration and then will present some awards.

During her visit to the brewery she officially launched a new ale, ‘Ilkley Jubilee’, created especially to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

“This was a huge honour for the brewery and for the town and we are tremendously proud to be part of the Royal celebrations, " said Ilkley Brewery director Richard Shelton.

After a tour of the brewery, where Her Royal Highness was shown the various brewing processes, the Princess Royal unveiled a commemorative plaque to celebrate the installation of Ilkley Brewery’s sixth fermentation vessel.

Princess Anne has officially opened the new £100,000 all-weather indoor riding arena at Bradford's Throstle Nest Riding School. The Princess Royal is patron of the Riding for the Disabled Association.
