David Oxley has been elected as president of the Rugby Football League, 21 years after he retired as the game's chief executive.
Former FA Chief Executive Brian Barwick is to be the new Chairman of the Rugby Football League.
He succeeds Maurice Watkins, who has been interim chairman since Richard Lewis stepped down last year.
Before taking over at the FA, Barwick had been Head of Sport at ITV. Previously he'd also been in charge of sport at BBC television.
Leeds Rhinos half-back Danny McGuire has been granted a testimonial by the Rugby Football League. The 29-year-old, who has been ruled out of the Challenge Cup final with a knee injury, joined Leeds when he was 13 and has gone on to score 220 tries for the club.
As a result, he is the joint leading scorer in the history of the Super League, while he has won five Super League titles with the club. The testimonial will start from September 1 and will run for a year.
"It is a huge privilege for me to be granted a testimonial by the RFL and I would like to thank them for that," said McGuire. "Testimonials are still invaluable to players in our sport. We won't be able to retire when we finish playing like footballers."
