Sea Cadets will march through Bradford to celebrate Trafalgar Day, before a special service is held at the city's Cathedral. The national day is held in honour of Admiral Lord Nelson's historic victory at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.

Around 150 cadets from all eight of the West Yorkshire units will parade through the city after the inspection by Major Stan Hardy (Rt) TD DL, the High Sheriff of West Yorkshire Virginia Lloyd and the Lord Mayor of Bradford Councillor Khadim Hussain.

After the service the Cadets will parade back to Centenary Square for a march past at 3pm, before attending a reception at the Bradford Sea Cadets headquarters TS Aurora, which was named after the troop ship adopted by the citizens of Bradford during the Second World War.
