Royal Mail will produce a stamp to honour Luke Campbell’s gold medal win in the Men’s Boxing Bantam Weight. The stamps will be on sale by tomorrow in over 500 Post Offices across the UK.
Residents of Hull, Luke’s home city, will be able to purchase stamps from the Post Office branch at three branches across the city.
Dee Adams has given her stamp of approval to the two Golden postboxes in her daughter's honour. She says she'd like to keep them for herself .... and that her daughter can keep the stamp and the medals!.
Not one - but two - postboxes have been painted Gold in Nicola Adam's home city of Leeds.
A jubliant Nicola says she was inspired as a youngster by the boxing greats.
It's only magnolia at the moment, but this postbox outside Leeds City Art Gallery is being painted gold to commemorate Nicola Adams' victory in the women's boxing final at the Olympics.
And a commemorative Gold Medal Stamp has also been issued in Nicola's honour.
Alistair Brownlee's Triathalon Gold is being commemorated - with both a stamp, and a golden postbox in his honour. The Royal Mail will paint one of its red post boxes gold in his hometown of Horsforth.
And this will be followed by the issue of a Gold Medal stamp, which will be on sale in over 500 Post Offices including one in neighbouring Pudsey.
Leeds Triathlete Alistair Brownlee is to have a postbox in his hometown of Horsforth painted Gold in his honour.
