Leeds United's new signing Steve Morison has spoken for the first time about his move to Elland Road. The striker arrived on Thursday as part of a swap deal with Premier League side Norwich, which saw top-scorer Luciano Becchio move in the opposite direction.
Luciano Becchio has completed his transfer to Norwich City from Leeds United, with Steve Morison moving in the opposite direction.
Of Morison, who's signed a 3 and a half year deal, Leeds manager Neil Warnock said "Even before Luciano put in a transfer request we'd enquired about Steve - he was at the top of my list to bring in."
Warnock also went on to say "Steve meets all the requirements of the striker we've been looking to bring in. For me, he is a player who has everything."
Becchio on his move to Norwich said "I cannot wait to play my first game for Norwich and the chance to play in the Premier League."
