Olympic sculpture unveiled

A sculpture of former Olympian and gold medallist Jonathan Edwards made from used train parts has been unveiled at Leeds station.

The life-sized work of art recreates Edwards celebrating after his victory in the triple jump at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. The statue will stand on the Southern Concourse for three days to highlight travel to this summer's Olympic Games.

Sixty leading organisations submitted written submissions and eleven witnesses were called to give evidence.
