A team of women from the Unison union are taking on a gruelling 12 hour gym session to raise money to support victims of domestic violence.
The event is taking place at the Richard Dunn Sports Centre in Odsal.
The women are hoping the money they raise will support parents and children who have been forced to live in special refuges to escape domestic violence.
Bradford Council is donating use of the equipment for free.
Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust in South Yorkshire said it faced a "very challenging financial future" The Trust declined to put a figure on possible job losses, but Unison said it could mean 750 cuts among nursing staff, clerical workers and medical secretaries.
Plans to increase parking fines in hospitals in Sheffield - which would see people parking in a "prohibited area" fined by £60 have been attacked by a union.
Unison say the proposals, which are planned to be introduced from October 1, are "terrible".
The job of enforcing and collecting the fine, which could be reduced if paid immediately, has been sub-contracted to a company called Liberty Parking Services. It is believed anyone who doesn't pay the fine will be pursued through the courts.
Members of the union Unison will stage a protest in Sheffield today as councillors today meet to discuss plans to close three dementia centres in the city. Campaigners against the proposals say the Government should 'be ashamed' of forcing cuts upon the most vulnerable people.
