A public inquiry has begun into proposals for a nine-turbine windfarm overlooking Bridlington Bay. TCI Renewables wants to install the 420ft windmills on farmland at Fraisthorpe. Planning officers recommended the plan be refused.
But the company appealed to the Secretary of State when East Riding Council failed to determine the application within the required time. Objectors claim it would be a blight on Bridlington Bay.
