X Factor finalists District 3 will be visiting the Oasis Academy in Immingham today. One of the band - Micky Parsons - is from Cleethorpes so will be making a trip back to Lincolnshire. The band will be performing to primary schools as well as chatting to students about their career path so far.
Former X Factor contestant Ella Henderson has signed a record deal with Sony. The 16-year-old from Tetney near Grimsby in Lincolnshire was a firm favourite to win the competition, but was controversially voted off the show weeks before the final.
She took to Twitter to thank her fans following the news. She also said she is looking forward to next year.
