Rare footage of soldiers leaving Yorkshire for the Western front trenches has been unearthed.
The films, which had been languishing in a basement for decades, also show troops training, in preparation for their role in the First World War.
These and other images have been restored by Yorkshire Film Archive to mark this years Centenary of the outbreak of the Great War.
Archivists now want to bring the powerful stories to life - but they need your help. Tina Gelder explains.
