Former trawlerman Andy Lyne was determined to become a lifeboat man but at 33 stone he was too big for the Flamborough inshore lifeboat. Andy, 31, who has now lost 19 stone so he can fulfill his ambition said: "When I was at sea we had to be helped a few times,now I want to help other people.”
