UPDATE: Further details released by police
Insp John Lawson, of Humberside Police, confirmed the collision happened on the Aire and Calder bridge, over the canal. He said the two drivers were pronounced dead at the scene along with a front seat passenger from one of the vehicles.

The officer said the force will not be releasing any further information until tomorrow.
