BREAKING: East Cowick crash victims named
Three people who died in a crash in East Cowick have been named. The 70-year-old woman driving the Volvo was Sheila Stavert-Lee of Wigginton near York. The driver of the Golf was Derek John Sarkar from Birmingham and his son who was the front seat passenger was 14-year-old Ethan Sarkar.
The two cars were involved in a head-on collision yesterday lunchtime. It appears the Volvo crossed onto the wrong side of the carriageway into the path of the Golf. The rear seat passengers from the Golf - Mr Sarkar's 43-year-oldwife and nine-year-old daughter, remain in hospital.

The family of Derek and Ethan Sarkar, who were killed in a crash near Goole, say their loss is beyond belief.
