BREAKING: More details released on East Cowick crash
Police have released more details following a head on collision in East Cowick which claimed the lives of three people. A woman driving a Volvo car, aged 70 and from York died at the scene. A 46-year-old man and his 14-year-old son travelling in a Volkswagen Golf, also died.
His wife, aged 43 and the couple's nine-year-old daughter who were also travelling in the Golf are fighting for life in hospital. The family is from the West Midlands area. Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses. More to follow.
