Wheelchair racing athlete Hannah Cockroft from Calderdale is aiming for Gold medal success at the Paralympic World Cup. She is thinking of it as a chance to hone her skills before the Olympic Games this summer.
Cockroft will take part in the T34 100m competition at the Manchester Regional Arena Track on Tuesday 22 May.
The 19 year old having took double gold at the IPC World Athletics Championships in New Zealand in 2011. She also holds four world records in the T34 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m distances, and recently bettered her own 400m world record while competing in Australia.
