Police in Doncaster have recovered cannabis from five houses with a street value of £316,000 during a six week operation. The first warrant was carried out on Wednesday, February 29 at a property on Hexthorpe Road. There were 103 cannabis plants recovered with a street value of £31,000.
Two warrants were carried out Monday 5 and Tuesday March 6, at two properties on Stone Close Avenue in Hexthorpe. 258 cannabis plants were found in one property with a street value of £77,000, and 345 plants were found in the second property, with a street value of £104,000.
£90,000 worth of the drug was found at Wharncliffe Street on Friday, March 16.
A fifth warrant was carried out on Thursday, April 5, at a property on Birch Avenue in Skellow.
Cannabis plants with a street value of £14,000 were discovered.
