There are claims that around 350 jobs may be at risk at Willerby Holiday Homes, one of the region's biggest caravan manufacturers.
The company has issued this statement:
Following the Government's announcement to impose VAT on the sale of new static caravans / holiday homes...the Management of Willerby Holiday Homes had to regrettably announce notice of potential redundancies to its employees.....As yet the scale of any structural changes are not certain.....Willerby Holiday Homes will do all in its power to minimise the negative impacts of any changes to its employees and broader stakeholders.
