Bradford Bulls star Adrian Purtell is recovering in hospital after suffering a heart attack just a few hours after he'd played against the Leeds Rhinos at the weekend.
The twenty seven year old Australian complained of feeling unwell after the game and received treatment from the club's medical staff on the journey home. He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he underwent surgery and is expected to remain in hospital for the rest of the week.
We have spoken to the Bull's Football and Media Manager Stuart Duffy.
