The body of an East Yorkshire soldier who was killed in Afghanistan is being repatriated.

The body of a soldier from East Yorkshire killed in Afghanistan will be flown home today.

20-year-old Private Gregg Thomas Stone from Hornsea was killed on Sunday. He was shot while rescuing an Afghan policeman in Helmand Province.

He will be repatriated to RAF Brize Norton.
