As part of Operation Tharsley, South Yorkshire Police have arrested nine men from around the county. The men were arrested on suspicion of possession of indecent images of children and their computers were seized during the raids.
In addition, the searches led to five children being taken into police protection due to the poor conditions they were found living in. The men, aged between 44 and 60-years-old have been released on police bail whilst investigations continue.
