Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are to get a new home after planning permission was passed for the Newmarket Development . The 12,000 capacity community stadium at junction 30 of the M62 should be ready in time for the Wildcats to take their place as anchor tenants at the beginning on the 2015 season.
It will be owned by the Wakefield & District Community Trust and will also provide much needed sporting facilities for the district.
