Hannah Bonser - who is accused of killing a teenage girl at a park in Doncaster has appeared at Sheffield crown court today via videolink. The 26 year old pleaded not guilty at an earlier hearing to murdering Casey-Lyanne Kearney in February.
13-year-old Casey was stabbed at Elmfield Park on Valentine's Day. She managed to call 999 for help but died after being taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary. Today's hearing allowed legal teams to check the case was ready to proceed. The trial is due to begin on July 2 at Sheffield Crown Court.
