Sheffield boxer Kell Brook is one step closer to taking the world title following his win against American Carson Jones, at a packed out Sheffield Arena last night.
The unbeaten 26 year old finished the 12 rounds bloodied and tired with a majority decision win. One judge called it a draw, the other two ruled 116-113 and 115-113. He will face Argentinian Hector Saldivia next in an eliminator for the IBF World Welterweight title.
