Ed Clancy flies in the flying lap

Back in the saddle after riding to Olympic glory yesterday Ed Clancy from Huddersfield had another stunning performance today this time in the 250m flying lap.

Ed leads the men's omnium after riding his lap in 12.566 seconds, more than half a second over his nearest rival, Shane Archibold of New Zealand. The flying lap is the first of six disciplines in the multi-event omnium.
