A fourth fire in as many months has hit Sheffield Ski Village. It comes after the centre was badly damaged by a major blaze in April. Since that fire which destroyed the club house, reception, ski hire and function rooms the centre has been hit by a series of smaller fires.
The latest saw firefighters called to the ski village as a large amount of matting went up in flames. It is thought the fire was started deliberately. After the first fire, fifty staff were made redundant.
