It has been revealed that there are more than two and a half thousand CCTV cameras inside schools across the Calendar region. Over two hundred of those are based in the changing rooms and bathrooms - that's a higher number here than anywhere else in the country.
Local councils argue its to safeguard the children, anti-surveillance campaigners say there's nothing to suggest it's having a positive impact. Adam Fowler reports.
