One Direction heart-throb Louis Tomlinson has agreed to become a patron of Sheffield' Bluebell Wood Hospice.
Louis, who is from South Yorkshire, and his One Direction bandmates first visited the hospice last year whilst taking part in the X-Factor tour.
He was so touched by the children he met here and the work the staff do that he is now using his fame to help out. On 22nd October, Louis will be playing in a charity football match at Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium.
He will be playing for his old side The Three Horseshoes against a Doncaster Rovers XI with the proceeds going to Bluebell Wood. “It was really important for me to support a local charity. Bluebell Wood is such a great cause and I’m very proud to be able to help them with raising funds, ” he said.
