English footballers and the FA have condemned the racism and violence at the end of the under-21 match between England and Serbia. A Doncaster player was among those abused.

PM joins condemnation of racist chants

The Prime Minister has now joined the condemnation of Serbian fans and players who allegedly racially abused Doncaster born footballer Danny Rose during an under 21 international last night.

22 year-old Rose, a former Leeds United trainee, reacted to racist chants from Serbian fans by kicking the ball into the crowd just after England had won their match in Krusevac last night.

David Cameron has said he was appalled by the scenes on the pitch, and, along with his sports minister, has called on UEFA to investigate.
