Labour MP and former paratrooper, Dan Jarvis, is to host a special performance of the Military Wives Choir of 3 YORKS today in the Speaker's Apartments in the Houses of Parliament.
It will be the first time that the Military Wives Choir of 3 YORKS have performed live in parliament and the event will be attended by the classical music group Amore who recently performed at the Classical Brit Awards at the Royal Albert Hall.
The Yorkshire Regiment Military Wives Choir came together to provide mutual support throughout the worrying period of their husbands and partners being deployed in Afghanistan. This has been a particularly difficult tour with nine soldiers from the Regiment falling in the line of duty.
