£1m heroin haul

Heroin seized in Bradford Credit: West Yorkshire Police

Suspected heroin with an estimated street value in excess of a million pounds has been seized in Bradford. Police officers conducting routine patrols in the Bowling Back Lane area saw a man make away from a VW vehicle outside Industrial Units.

They subsequently located a bag containing suspected Class ‘A’ drugs and related paraphernalia. Searches were conducted inside the Units and further suspected drugs were located.

All the items and substances are being forensically examined. A 28 year old man was arrested in connection with the find and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
