Double paralympic champion Hannah Cockroft has been made a freewoman of the borough of Calderdale. Hannah, who won 2 gold medals in the 100 and 200 metres wheelchair sprint in London, was awarded this latest honour at Halifax Town hall this morning.
Friends and family were there to see Hannah sign the honorary freedom roll of honour, be presented with the freedom scroll and unveil her name on the freedom plaque.

Barbara, from Sheffield, and her husband, Ray, gave much of their great fortune away to worthy causes.
