Hope for Siemens in Hull as businesses relocate

Businesses based on land earmarked for the new £80m Siemens wind turbine factory have been relocated - providing hope the company will still come to the area.

The relocation of firms off Alexandra Dock in East Hull is just one of the measures being put into place ahead of an expected final decision by the global engineering giant early in the New Year.

After the publication of the Government's Energy Bill last week, the company said its plans for the Hull facility remained "on track".
