People have been getting in touch on the Calendar Facebook page to give their view on proposals to locate the HS2 high speed rail station at Meadowhall rather than the centre of Sheffield.
- Wayne Tomlinson said: "It's an obvious place to put it as the location of Sheffield's main station is not a viable place due to the area's contours."
- Mark O'Neill said: "Meadowhall is a good location for the station and in any case would provide a frequent and fast connection into the centre of Sheffield."
- Sylvia Hitchen said: "We don't need another train line. Money would be better spent creating long term employment."
