Wilthorpe Infant School gets second prize in Nativity Factor competition

Wilthorpe Infant School in Barnsley finished in second place in the Youth section of ITN's competition, Nativity Factor.

The competition asked children to tell the Nativity story in an original way to win a prize of £5000.

Five and six-year-olds from years one and two were involved in the short film. They came second after telling the story as a news item and called the piece Wilthorpe Infant Town News.

Entries were judged on creativity, style and story. ITV News presenter Julie Etchingham was one of five judges.

The competition was set up by ITN Productions in conjunction with Jerusalem Productions.
