Police have released an e-fit image of a man they want to trace after a sexual assault on an 18-year-old woman in Armley.

The victim was walking on a footpath next to the rear wall of the prison off Hall Lane when she was grabbed by a man and sexually assaulted around 4.40pm on November 14.

The victim screamed which attracted the attention of another man who shouted at her attacker who then ran off.

It is believed the suspect left the scene in a vehicle, possibly a green Vauxhall Astra.

He was described as white, aged about 30, about 5ft 7ins tall, fat, with dark brown crew-cut hair and a stubbly beard. He was wearing a green polo shirt, dark cargo trousers and black work boots.

Anyone with information should contact Detective Constable 5318 Lee Swift at Weetwood police station via 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
