From @JonHillITV on Twitter:A North Yorkshire police officer killed in a road accident while answering an emergency call near Ripon has been named as Andrew Bramma.
The 32-year-old died when his police van collided with a tree in the village of West Tanfield last night. He was responding to another crash in the area. PC Bramma had transfered from Greater Manchester police to the force in North Yorkshire, only four months ago.
