British Transport Police have released a statement after a woman was struck by a train at Adwick Station. The train was a London to Leeds service.

BTP officers were called to Adwick station, Doncaster, on Friday, 11 January following a report of a woman being struck by a train.
BTP and South Yorkshire Police officers attended the incident, which was reported to BTP at 12.50pm, and is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
Medics from Yorkshire Ambulance Service also attended, but the woman was pronounced dead the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the woman and inform her family.
A file will be prepared for the Coroner.”
