MacShane expense investigation reopens

Police are reopening their investigation into Denis MacShane's expenses. The disgraced former Rotherham MP stepped down from his seat last year after admitting using fake receipts to wrongly claim thousands of pounds of parliamentary expenses.

The investigation was originally dropped by Scotland Yard in 2010 because of lack of evidence. Now following a report by the parliamentary standards watchdog, the Metropolitan Police says it will reinvestigate.
