Police target antisocial snowballers

Police in Doncaster say they will not tolerate people who throw snowballs aiming to harm others.

Last night there were 80 reports of "snowballing" made to them from across the borough. The majority of cases were dealt with positively, but officers believes some of the people involved may have acted with intent to intimidate or to harm others.

We do not want to stop people enjoying the snow, however incidents of antisocial behaviour or criminal damage will be investigated and those responsible will be dealt with appropriately.
