Police appeal for wanted Harrogate man

Police are looking for a 30-year-old man they want to speak to in connection to an incident of criminal damage.

Christopher Beane is wanted after a window of a Renault Clio was broken around 11pm on Christmas Day last year on Hambleton Road in Harrogate.

Beane is described as white, 5ft 11in tall with a medium build and dark brown hair.

Although his whereabouts are unknown it is believed that Beane is still in the Harrogate area. Police do not believe he is a risk to the public.

Police are urging Beane to hand himself in to his local police station and warn that anyone shielding Beane should be aware they are possibly committing offences.
