Humberside Police open doors of lost property store

Humberside police are urging people to help them return their valuable items such as mobile phones and laptops if they are lost or stolen.

The force has thousand of items in store at the Clough Road headquarters which have been lost or recovered after burglaries and thefts.

The police have invested in new scanning equipment to help them trace the owners. They say people need to register expensive items such as phones, tablets and bikes on the UK national property register.
