Injury blow for Castleford Tigers' Kirk Dixon
Castleford Tigers Head Coach Ian Millward has confirmed that Kirk Dixon will miss the first six weeks of Super League after suffering a calf tear in training last week.
– Ian Millward, Head CoachDixon was out for seven months after undergoing neck surgery as well as having six months out with a shoulder injury the year before, so I really feel for him.
He is our best goal kicker so there is no doubt it is a blow for us."
The Tigers have confirmed that Keith Mason and Jordan Tansey are available for selection for the squad’s first test against Warrington Wolves this Sunday after missing the pre-season friendlies.
