Mansfield's four-time Olympic medallist Rebecca Adlngton is set to announce her retirement from swimming tomorrow.
Last week, the 23-year-old called a press conference, scheduled for tomorrow morning, in London - promising a major announcement. It's unclear whether she'll remain in the sport in some capacity.
Adlington is the most successful swimmer of the modern era and her double gold in the 400m and 800m in Beijing in 2008 was the first time a Brit have won 2 golds in the Olympic pool since Henry Taylor in 1908.
