Scunthorpe United registered their first home win since September with a 2-1 win against fellow League 1 strugglers Portsmouth. Akpo Sodje got both goals to lift the Iron out of the relegation zone.
Meanwhile Conference North side Gainsborough Trinity made it into thelast 4 of the FA Trophy with a 2-0 win over Barrow. They join Grimsby in the semis and possibly FC Halifax Town, who play Dartford in their quarter final replay tomorrow night.
